GREAT YEAR 2010 and 2011 for John and Joyce. We treasure our independent lifestyle, so installing Solar was the ultimate and we want the same for the rest of America. John's project was to install solar panels at our home. As you can see the 4 sets of 22-panel sections in the picture above are the result of John's finished project. We are located in Upstate New York area and the panels provide all of the household electric during the day and any extra power is fed back into the electric grid to NYSEG. We even received a check from NYSEG for $75 for last year's portion of the electric which we fed back to the grid. Plus, for 3 months this summer we only paid $32.14 for electric. Our system provided 92% of the total household requirements, as of Nov. 1, 2011.
